kalimba twinkle twinkle little star

Twinkle twinkle little star is a popular nursery rhyme that was written by an English author called Jane Taylor in 1806. The original rhyme was actually called ‘the star’ and since its first publication, it has changed quite significantly. Due to the in-depth history of the tune, there are many variations that can be found around the world. In the UK alone, there are several alternatives to the original lyrics we are taught as a child, making it an extremely diverse tune. Below you will find the kalimba sheet tab so that you can play your kalimba along to the melody of the song and if you wish you can sing along to the lyrics too!

Twinkle twinkle little star is possibly one of the easiest kalimba tabs of all time as it uses a simple melody that repeats itself making it completely perfect for the absolute beginner. Kids love this nursery rhyme and playing it to them before bed instead of a bedtime story will soothe them to sleep. You can also introduce the kalimba to your little one, teaching them how to play the tune they have grown to love. Before you know it, they’ll be playing along with you!
